Argentine Toy Run
Hi Guys/Gals.

Remember last year I posted a little something about the Easter egg run having a knock-on effect in Argentina. Well it's happened again.

Fernando has pulled out all of the stops for a second year and managed to make a lot of children extremely happy. Some of the people who attended have posted some pictures on his website. Please check them out. This man is a hero in my eyes, he has my utmost respect. 0137-clapping0139-1-bow

Why are we posting this here, I hear you cry... well, Fernando contacted me through our club website just looking to speak to Scottish bikers (He's nuts about all things Scottish), and after a while he enquired about the Easter egg run and its purpose. Once I explained how it all worked, he thought it was a terrific idea and they should have one over there too. 1 year later he had pulled together over 500 bikers, tonnes of toys for children of all ages and then brought Buenos Aries to a standstill and they rode through town.

This is his second year of running it, and again he was swamped with generosity from both bikers and the general public. He is shown in the picture below talking to the media about the event, and explained its history (and how it started in Scotland). If you look closely at his right arm (that’s the one on the left in the pic), you will see a little bit of 633 Squadron there with him.

Well Done Fer. (“un abraso a la di stancia)

Ps. As a little footnote.. the little girl sitting astride the PanEuro (futher up the list) had him in tears… she hugged him and said “Thanks.. we have been waiting for you.

oh yea.. and Fireblades are considered family transport Big Grin
